There are many ways to get involved at StFX. In fact, the university fosters involvement from students as a recognition that learning and personal growth happens both in and outside of the classroom.
You could edit the school newspaper, get on-air experience at the student-run radio station, join the skydiving society, go rock climbing, volunteer, get involved in a range of sport and recreational activities, and much more.
You will find many diverse leadership opportunities at StFX that can be tailored to your interests. These range from finding ways to offer personal leadership every day, to leading others on a court, a field or in a group or club.
Getting involved also means thinking and acting beyond our campus borders. Socieities like Xtending Hope, Service Learning, and XPride invite students to take action, nurture leadership, engender service to the community and enrich lives.
The following is a list of all clubs and societies at X:
Our athletes are very involved in the community in programs like X-Out Bullying, in which over 50 varsity athletes talk to local Grade 4 and 5 students. The Athletics Department also donates varsity season passes for the Big Brothers and Sisters program.
