Megan MacGillivray
Dr. MacGillivray has an interdisciplinary health background focused in Rehabilitation Sciences. She completed most of her training at the International Collaboration on Repair Discoveries (ICORD) focusing on biomedical approaches to enhancing mobility and participation among people with neurological conditions.
Dr. MacGillivray’s research interests are focused in enhancing mobility and participation among the aging population, using mHealth to help self-manage chronic conditions, and using innovative strategies (e.g. design, training techniques) to improve mobility and participation. Dr. MacGillivray also uses population health data to explore determinants of health and is a member of an international research group focused on examining long-term health outcomes in people with the rare condition, AMC (Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita).
