Michael Follert
Dr. Follert's research focuses on aspects of social and cultural life where representation fails - invisibility, silences, repression, unrepresentability. These fields of interest extend from everyday life to labour markets, cultural narratives, media representations, and political processes. Dr. Follert comes to StFX after several years teaching at Carleton University, and the University of Guelph where he developed and regularly taught a popular interdisciplinary first year seminar, Horror Night in Canada.
