A community-based adult educator with a commitment to social justice and participatory development, Dr. Nancy Peters has worked with educational programs, non-profit and voluntary organizations. Nancy’s interests include women’s leadership and gender equity (including LGBTQ2S+ ally building), and intercultural learning. Her background includes academic teaching and consultancy support for the design and delivery of educational programs. Nancy’s teaching journeys have taken her to northern Canada, Thailand, and Nepal. Nancy has a Bachelor of Education (University of Saskatchewan) and is a proud StFX M.Ad.Ed. graduate. A lifelong learner, she completed a Doctor of Philosophy (University of Saskatchewan) when she was in her late fifties.
