Rhonda McIver
BCOMM (Mount Allison University), CPA & CA (Nova Scotia)
Professor McIver’s professional and academic expertise covers the areas of Canadian taxation, audit, and financial accounting. Her research areas of interest include taxation, positive education and resiliency building in the classroom, and improving individual well-being in the professional accounting environment. In addition to her many years of teaching experience, Rhonda spent almost two decades working in public practice in the areas of tax and audit with a focus on small business. Rhonda is also actively involved in a variety of student-focused academic extra-curricular activities supported by the Schwartz School of Business.
Professor McIver typically teaching stream would include, Canadian personal and corporate taxation, audit, introductory financial accounting, and introductory managerial accounting. She has also taught introduction to business, intermediate accounting, advanced accounting, and management information systems. Rhonda obtained her Bachelor of Commerce, with a major in Accounting, from Mount Allison University and subsequently became a member of the Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia, now the Chartered Professional Accountants of Nova Scotia.
