Shari Livingston is a Nurse Educator at the St. Francis Xavier University, Rankin School of Nursing. She first obtained her Diploma in Nursing at the Aberdeen Hospital School of Nursing in 1991. She then went on to further her education and received her BScN (Advaced Major with distinction) in 1996.

Shari’s experience in nursing includes: orthopedic surgery, medicine, long-term care and community based nursing. Throughout her career, she has committed to enhancing her knowledge base through regularly attending workshops and other learning opportunities. She has been a part-time nurse educator with the School of Nursing since 2005, working in clinical and lab supervision. She is also currently employed with NSHA Continuing Care and works part-time as a visiting home care nurse.

Shari currently lives in Pictou County with her husband and three daughters (two in university and one in high school).
