Dr. Yen Nguyen is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Schwartz School of Business. She holds a PhD in finance from Monash University (Australia) and her Master of Business (Banking and Finance) and Bachelor of Business (Banking and Finance) both from Monash University (Australia). She also holds a fellowship in Life Management Institute (FLMI). Before joining StFX, Yen had extensive working experience in Prudential Life Insurance and Prudential Fund Management Company in Vietnam. At StFX, she teaches courses on Financial Management II, International Financial Management, and Personal Financial Management. Yen’s research interests include financial institutions, insurance, market microstructure, financial analysts, venture capital and foreign exchange risk. Her works have been published in many journals including International Review of Financial Analysis and Journal of Policy Modeling.
