StFX to delay opening until 11:30AM today, Thursday February 15

Special announcement from StFX University

Due to accumulation and blowing snow conditions on campus, please be advised that StFX University will delay opening until 11:30 AM today, Thursday, February 15. Essential services will remain open (Morrison Hall, security, snow removal).

Online classes will continue as per schedule unless notified otherwise by the professor.

The L'nu symbol. L’nu is a word the Mi’kmaq use to describe themselves, meaning “human being” or “the people.”

StFX is located in Mi’kma’ki, the unceded ancestral territory of the Mi'kmaw people. The Mi'kmaw name for Antigonish is Nalikitquniejk, meaning ‘place where branches are torn off.’
