Dr. Billie Jane Hermosura has accrued over 20 years interdisciplinary experience within health care, with her primary areas of research interest being professional competencies development, leadership, and program evaluation. She earned a PhD from the University of Ottawa in Health Professions Education, a Master of Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University, as well as a Master of Applied Nutrition from the University of Guelph. Billie Jane applies her passion for health and adult learning through her work as a dietitian, consultant, researcher, and part-time professor; her work focuses on the relationship between competency-based education and professional skills development.
