Laura completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Mount Allison University, then went on to do a Bachelor of Science in Applied Human Nutrition degree with Integrated Dietetic Internship at Mount Saint Vincent University. Laura continued her education at the University of New Brunswick to receive a Masters of Education degree in Adult Education. She worked as a clinical dietitian for Horizon Health Network in Saint John, New Brunswick for 11 years, spending the last eight years working in the Diabetes Education Centre as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE). Laura has a strong interest in nutrition and social media, and is a lifelong learner and nutrition entrepreneur.
