My name is Julianna Drake, a third-year student pursuing a joint Honours Degree in Business and Economics at StFX. I strive to balance academic excellence with community service and hold the position of Vice President of Finance and Operations for the Students’ Union, advocating for affordability and enhancing campus services. Being a bursary recipient eases financial burdens and allows me focus on my studies, leadership roles, and overall well-being. Thanks to the donors of my bursary, I feel a sense of encouragement, empowering me to pay it forward in the future.

My name is Madison Swinamer, I am in my 4th year at StFX in the Nursing program. I aim to achieve my goal of working in pediatrics at the IWK Health Centre, nurturing the health and well-being of children. As a bursary recipient, I've been able to fully engage in my studies and extracurricular commitments, serving as an executive member of the Orientation Committee and contributing to events like Shinerama. Donors supporting bursaries like mine are paving the way for my future impact in healthcare.
