Scholarship Information for Current Students

Scholarship Renewal

If you were a recipient of a renewable entrance or major scholarship during your first year, an automatic review of your student records will be completed at the end of each fall/winter academic term, to determine if you have met the renewal criteria.  Unless otherwise started in your official scholarship offer letter, St. Francis Xavier University's scholarship renewal terms are as follows:

Students must be enrolled in at least 24 credits in the fall/winter terms combined, with a minimum overall average of 80% at StFX to maintain scholarship offer. Any new, incoming undergraduate students who do not meet the renewal terms stated above will have the opportunity to regain their entrance or major scholarship, in their second year of study only. Second year students who improve their overall average to 80% or higher will regain their scholarship for subsequent years of study provided they maintain that same minimum average of 80%.

In-Course Scholarships
