How to Book an Appointment

If you have successfully registered with the Tramble Centre and have completed your Tramble Centre Intake, you can book an appointment using our online portal. There are several different appointment types you can select from depending on your reason for needing an appointment.  If you do not know which appointment type to select, please see the appointment type guide below.

Appointment Type Guide
Tramble Centre Registration

Duration: 30 minutes 
Purpose: This is your first step. We’ll review your assessment and discuss testing accommodations. We will talk about how we can best support your academic journey.

Choose this if:

  • You're new to our services
  • You want to explore available support and create a plan
Academic Planning

Duration: 30 minutes 
Purpose: Meet with an advisor to discuss your program, course selection, academic standing, or graduation requirements.

Choose this if:

  • You need help planning your courses or understanding your program
  • You're unsure about academic policies or pathways
Accessibility Advising/Grant Funding

Duration: 30 minutes 
Purpose: Get help identifying and applying for grants or funding opportunities available to you.

Choose this if:

  • You want assistance completing grant applications
  • You're exploring financial support options
New Student Support

Duration: 30 minutes 
Purpose: Designed for students transitioning into post-secondary life at StFX and looking for orientation, time management strategies, or resources.

Choose this if:

  • You're new to the Tramble Centre and want to start strong
  • You need help navigating services and supports
EDGE Support

Duration: 30-45 minutes 
Purpose: Meet with our EDGE advisor to explore co-curricular experiences, work-integrated learning, or skill-building opportunities.

Choose this if:

  • You're interested in gaining experience beyond the classroom
  • You want to learn how EDGE can help enhance your resume
Assistive Technology Support

Duration: 30 minutes 
Purpose: Learn how to use assistive technologies to support your learning.

Choose this if:

  • You need help setting up or using assistive technology
  • You want to explore tools that support reading, writing, or studying
General Inquiries

Duration: 20-30 minutes 
Purpose: Ask questions about requirements to become registered with Tramble Centre

Choose this if:

  • You need clarification about what we do
Tutor Requests

Duration: 30 minutes 
Purpose: Get one-on-one academic support in specific subject areas to help you better understand course content.

Choose this if:

  • You're struggling with course material
  • You want to strengthen your understanding or prepare for exams
