StFX will recognize Consent Week from Monday, October 6 to Friday, October 10, 2025, and we warmly invite students, faculty, and staff to take part. Visible@X, the Sexual Violence Prevention and Response office, is leading a series of events designed to highlight the importance of consent, healthy boundaries, and building a campus where everyone can thrive.

Maple League Course in Japan

Dear Students,

You are invited to participate in the Doing Business Abroad International Program. This opportunity allows StFX students are invited to join Acadia University students and faculty in an online course this semester followed by two weeks of study and travel in Japan during the Winter 2026 semester.

Program details:

  • Register: HERE by October 16th, 2025.
  • Faculty Contact: Dr. Connor Vibert, conor.vibert@acadiau.ca, Acadia University.
  • Credits: Six credits (three credits for the course and three credits for the field school).
  • Course Component: Weekly online class with Acadia University, starting mid-October.
  • Travel Component: Two weeks of travel in Japan.
  • Number of students: 15 students can join this course and travel opportunity with two faculty members.
  • Program Eligibility: Open to all third year and fourth year StFX students across all faculties.
  • Grade Eligibility: Must have a minimum 2.75 GPA or higher.
  • Travel Dates: February 13th – March 1st. Note that the StFX reading week is February 16th – 22nd, 2026, and that students will miss some class time.
  • Fees (Total of $5500.00 per student):
    • $100 airport deposit due by Nov. 8th.
    • $2,800.00 due Dec. 3rd.
    • Remaining balance due TBC.
