Colloquia
For our colloquium, we invite local, national, and international researchers to present their findings to the physics community at StFX. Normally, colloquia are delivered in person in room NFSC 3046, and take place on Fridays at 4:00pm. However, some colloquia may be delivered online, or at a different time. Information about how to join an online colloquium can be obtained from the seminar coordinator Carl Adams.

Information for Speakers
The audience will consist of undergraduate students (in particular in their 4th year), current and retired physics faculty, physics academic staff, faculty from other departments who have an interest in you and/or your research, local high school physics teachers, and other interested people. (The colloquia are open to everyone so feel free to invite guests.) Attendance is typically between 10 and 30 people. Plan on a 45–50-minute talk, plus 10 minutes for questions.
If you would like to talk to members of the department individually about your research, arrangements can be made. If you would like to meet specifically with the undergraduate students, that can also be arranged.
