The Alumni Affairs Team would like to invite you to Glow in the Dark Yoga on Sunday, March 16, at 4:00 PM!  (location: KMC conference rooms)

Get ready for a fun and engaging hour led by Allana Beaton, complete with music, glow sticks, and movement! This free session is open to students, faculty, and staff—come as you are and enjoy a unique yoga experience!

 What to Bring:

  • Comfortable yoga attire

  • Water

  • A yoga mat (if you have one—some will be available)

Rethinking Canadian-American Relations in the Post-American Era

Kim Richard Nossal went to school in Melbourne, Beijing, Toronto, and Hong Kong. He graduated from the University of Toronto, and in 1976 joined McMaster University to teach International Relations and Canadian foreign policy. He was chair of the Department of Political Science from 1992 to 1996. In 2001, he moved to Queen’s University to head the Department of Political Studies. After stepping down as head in 2009, he served as director of the Centre for International and Defence Policy from 2011-13 and as director of the School of Policy Studies from 2013-15. He retired from Queen’s in 2020.

 

StFX is pleased to present the annual Allan J. MacEachen Lecture Series This lecture series has been established through the generous support of friends and associates of the late Honourable Allan J. MacEachen.

18th Annual German Day Celebration at StFX – March 21

The German classes will be celebrating their 18th German Day at StFX on March 21 at 4 pm in Dennis Hall.
The event will feature inspiring student presentations, guest speakers, and a quiz. 
German cake and coffee will be served.

The Angus L. Macdonald Library is pleased to provide access to "Proquest One Sustainability" for a limited time.  Access ends on March 23, 2025.  

ProQuest One Sustainability is a trans-disciplinary research collection focused on sustainability and interrelated disciplines. Millions of full-text items including scholarly journals, case studies, NGO reports, dissertations, books, and more are supplemented by topic overviews aligned around the three pillars of sustainability: environment, social and economic. Overviews and supporting research on each of the 17 SDG's are also featured, along with various trending topics.

2025 McKenna Lecture with Manjit Minhas of Dragons' Den

The Frank McKenna Centre for Leadership is pleased to announce that Manjit Minhas, star of Dragons' Den, will deliver the 2025 McKenna Lecture on March 25, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in McKenna Hall. In this Lecture, entitled “Rising to the Top: Get the Best Through Inclusive Leadership” Manjit asks how can we truly rise up to the occasions that challenge us? How can we harness exciting possibilities in a way that inspires others? How can we ensure everyone under our leadership has what they need to thrive?

· Log into UKG

· Choose the Giving Tab from the menu, it may take a couple of minutes to open.

· Click on the Day of Giving Campaign.

· Choose a preselected amount or choose other to enter a donation amount of your choosing to be deducted from each pay.

· Choose the date you wish to begin payroll deductions.

· Click on the Box marked donate this amount from each regular pay.

· Click on Submit.
