I am interested in implementation science for complementary and integrative health interventions, with a current focus on passive music listening. While much has been published regarding music listening and analgesic, anxiolytic, and antinausea effects, little is known regarding dosing or dose-response relationships, a major barrier to implementation of music listening in clinical practice.
Current Research Projects:
- Evaluation of music listening and dose-response in clinical practice sites
- Theoretical conceptualization of music listening within the Neuman Systems Model framework
- Economic evaluation of music listening, cost-savings analysis
